Baltimore reported September 3 that Nnamdi Madubuike had progressed into some team drills following his neck-injury recovery. Jesse Minter still described his Week 1 situation as day to day. The progress is meaningful, but remaining on the active roster does not itself clear him for Indianapolis. [Baltimore Ravens]
Madubuike's potential return could strengthen the interior defensive rotation. The same report says Teddye Buchanan has also resumed team drills after a season-ending knee injury. If available, both would give Baltimore additional front-seven options; neither an unrestricted role nor normal snap volume is established. [Baltimore Ravens]
Monitor whether Madubuike and Buchanan receive clearance for the Colts game rather than Week 2. Baltimore explicitly left Buchanan's timing open between those two games. The final participation and game-status reports should resolve that distinction before any stronger assessment of the defense. [Baltimore Ravens]
